About the Art Nouveau Letter W design
Pointed vees give way to rounded troughs in the final W, which hangs two deep U curves from three square-topped stems. The heaviest face flares its strokes into flat slab feet, and a slanted version bends every stroke into a curve with wedge-shaped tips. Two lighter faces pair a hairline with a thick stroke in each vee, and one of them ends its right arm in a small curled flourish.
