About the Lira Sign design

One upright runs the full height and then swings right at the bottom into a deep curve that sweeps up and stops on a squared end, the bend of a fishhook. Two parallel diagonals slant up to the right across it, cut off flat at both ends and spaced far enough apart that the lower one crosses near the middle while the upper one crosses high. The upper diagonal's tip climbs almost level with the top of the upright.
