About the Euro Sign design
The C sweeps almost edge to edge, a near circle broken at the right by a gap barely wider than the arc itself, with both tips sheared on a slant like the end of a chisel. Two bars cross the middle, set close together, each running out past the curve on the left and stopping well short of it on the right. They leave the circle on one side and never reach the other.
