About the Wide Frame design

Every side of this frame bows outward, so the rectangle swells like a cushion rather than sitting square. The steel is thickest at the four corners and thins toward the middle of each run, which is what gives the whole band its pillowed look. Inside, the opening repeats the same gentle bulge, and its top curve mirrors the bottom closely enough that the shape sits the same either way up.
