About the Cube Ring design

Six straight sides frame a cube seen corner-on, and three inner edges run toward the middle from the upper left, the upper right, and the bottom. Instead of meeting, they stop against a thick ring that sits dead center, the only circle in a drawing otherwise built from straight lines. The lower edge is the shortest of the three, a stub between the ring and the bottom point. Where the ring swells up into the top diamond, it pushes the two slanting edges apart.
