About the Snowflake design

Each of the six arms ends in a blunt V, the two prongs splayed wide like the tines of a pitchfork, and a second, shorter pair branches off partway along. Where the three long bars meet, the steel piles into one solid black lozenge with no opening at all. The gaps left between neighboring arms narrow to slim kites, pinched at the hub and widening toward the rim.
