About the Infinity Loop design

Two open rings sit at either end, and the stretch between them runs as one straight diagonal rather than a curve, climbing from lower left to upper right. Where the two strands should cross, one stays solid and the other quits, its ends sliced off square and stopped a hair short, like a ribbon snipped clean through. Both stubs angle back toward their own rings, and the whole figure spreads about twice as wide as it stands tall.
