About the Leafy Trunk design
One broad trunk runs straight up the middle of this clock, and the twelve and the six show in white right through it, one at the crown and one at the base. Halfway up, the trunk swells into a round disc that forms the center of the face. Slender branches curve out to either side, dotted with teardrop leaves, and the other ten numerals hang from them in black like fruit. Leaves crowd in closest around the ten and the four.
