About the Flowing Hair design

A face in profile is cut out along the left edge of the disc, looking outward with a sharp nose, full lips and a small round earring. Everything else is hair, a black mass that fills the circle and breaks into white curls and ribbon strands toward the lower edge. A white butterfly rests at the crown with a curling vine trailing behind it. On the right, a thin crescent of white splits the hair from the outer ring like a sliver of moon behind the head.
