About the Trinity Knot Ring design

Trinity knots march around this band in alternating directions, one pointing out toward the rim and the next pointing in toward the center, so every loop overlaps a neighbor and the chain never breaks. The cords are drawn in white, which leaves the steel as fine outlines and small dark wedges packed between the crossings. A thin black edge rims the band inside and out. The plain center disc spans more than three times the width of the knotwork around it.
