About the Transgender Sign design

Three arms leave a heavy ring at dead center, two climbing diagonally to the upper corners and one dropping straight down. Each diagonal ends in a square right-angle bracket instead of a pointed head, two flat bars meeting at a corner. The upper left arm carries a short stroke laid across it, forming a small X partway along. The lower stem passes through a wide crossbar near the bottom and runs on a short way past it.
