About the Syringe design

Everything leans on one diagonal, corner to corner. The barrel is a long hollow rectangle with sharp mitered corners, and two short round-ended bars poke into it from the upper edge as gauge marks, each stopping well short of the opposite wall. At the top a stubby crossbar rests on the plunger rod to make a small plus sign, and at the far end the needle is the only stroke in the whole design that narrows to a point.
