Symbol Quill Pen Metal Sign

About the Quill Pen design

The feather is drawn as a pointed leaf, one long curve above and a stepped notch cut into the underside where the barbs would break away. Its shaft crosses the page as one straight diagonal band and stops on a blunt square tip near the lower corner, so the whole pen tilts across the rectangle behind it. That rectangle turns a hook at the bottom right, its edge curling up into a small return, and a narrow slot runs along the base.
