About the Film Strip design

Three tall openings run down each side in an even stack, and a half opening bites into the top edge and again into the bottom, leaving the four corners standing out as short tabs. The center is one unbroken slot, wider than any opening beside it and taller than all three stacked together. Every gap is a sharp-cornered rectangle stood on end, the sprocket holes squared off and stretched until they look like tall windows.
