About the Check Mark design

The check is drawn as an outline, so a second check mark sits hollow inside the first and follows every turn of it. The long arm climbs nearly three times as far as the short arm drops, which throws the whole shape to the right and gives it the lean of a check dashed off in a hurry. Both ends are cut straight across the stroke, like a chisel edge, and the two points at the bottom sit one just above the other.
