About the Fleur Cross design

A small white circle holds the center, and four slender white stems run from it diagonally toward the corners, forming an X rather than an upright cross. Each stem opens into a fleur whose pointed tip aims straight into a corner, with two side petals spreading along the neighboring edges. Closer in, a pair of curls hooks back toward the stem, enclosing round black eyes. A solid black border frames all four fleurs, and the black between the stems swells into broad arms that reach each edge midpoint.
