About the Bone Fence design

Six upright bones make the pickets of this fence, and no two stand at quite the same height. The fourth rises highest, while the fifth is the skinniest of the row and ends in a lopsided single knob instead of a neat double one. Two long, thin bones serve as the rails, their knuckled ends poking just past the outer pickets. Each picket bows and leans a little, like a fence that has settled into soft graveyard ground.
