About the Pawn design

A thin crescent of white cuts into the upper left of the round head, like a sliver of new moon. Below it, a flat rectangular collar juts out wider than the neck, and a narrow white stripe runs down the left side of the tapered body. That stripe breaks at the collar, turns into a slanted wedge on the stepped base, and ends as a short bar in the plinth, so every highlight falls on one side, as if lit by a lamp to the left.
