Celtic Framed Plait Band Metal Sign

About the Framed Plait Band design

The cords weave down the length of this band, crossing on long diagonals and dipping over and under at every meeting. Along the top and bottom, the outer bends form rounded humps that stop just short of the border, leaving a thin white gap all the way along. At each short end the plait turns back in a wide loop, and only there does it meet the frame, whose inner corners sweep around in quarter curves to cradle it.
